The Finistère

Finistère, at the west end of Brittany, will charm you with the wild beauty of its landscapes and the richness of its heritage. The spectacular cliffs of the northern and most western coast alternate with creeks and bays, fishing harbours and stunning white sandy beaches. Each detour offers a unique panorama from the Pointe du Raz to the Pointe Saint Mathieu passing through the half island of Crozon. The many small towns of Brittany like Pont-Croix, Douarnenez , Locronan, Quimper or Concarneau mix historical charm and modern life, while the gastronomy of our region: seafood and fish, vegetables and meats from local producers, pancakes, far breton and kouign amann, complete this picture of nature and culture.

Finistère is a land of adventure and discoveries for all. Nature lovers can hike on the famous coastal path going all along the coast of Brittany. or explore the smaller inland trails, while sea enthusiasts can sail, kayak or surf in fabulous spots. The cycling routes allow you to travel safely through the Cap Sizun. Visiting our fishing ports like Douarnenez, Guilvinec and Concarneau and the emblematic lighthouses will immerse you in the Breton maritime world.

Audierne Esquibien is the ideal starting point to discover Cap-Sizun and its surroundings. The pier for the island of Sein located in Esquibien is less than 3 km from our hotel. You will surely enjoy the liveliness of the fishing port of Audierne and its marina. The port life testifies to its inhabitants' attachment to the sea, making Audierne a must-see stopover for exploring Finistère.
